Where We Live and Why It Matters: Evidence on Housing and Neighbourhood from Government Surveys
Understanding housing and neighbourhoods is key to reducing inequalities and improving the quality of life for people and communities. This one-day conference focuses on research evidence from government surveys such as the English Housing Survey, the British Crime Survey, Living in Wales and the Family Resources Survey.
The conference will be relevant for those with an interest in housing and/or neighbourhoods and associated policy areas. Papers cover a range of issues including neighbourhood types, neighbourhood perceptions, housing tenure and housing wealth. The day seeks to present research with policy relevance and we welcome attendance from policy makers, analysts, academics and others working in these areas.
The UK Data Service has recently upgraded its data discovery and access systems. Read more about the changes to our new Data Catalogue and ‘My Account’ area.
