Article dated: 23 June 2017
As part of our series of short articles 'A decade in 50 words' we take a look at the 2000s:
In the 2000s, the Archive becomes the UK Data Archive to recognise its role in the international data community and is designated a place of deposit for public records from the National Archives. It holds event ‘Cooking numbers and eating words: using data to investigate food, lifestyle and health’ (part of the ESRC festival of social science).
The UK Data Service website will be undergoing an upgrade to our systems from Thursday 23 August until Wednesday 29 August inclusive. Some parts of the current website, account area and data catalogue will be unavailable. Normal services are expected to resume on 30 August 2018. We apologise for any inconvenience.
