Dissertation Prize

Are you an undergraduate student using secondary analysis for your dissertation? Would you like to share your results with other researchers, users of data and practitioners?

The Dissertation Prize is an opportunity to recognise and reward undergraduate students who use our data for their dissertations. We will be awarding three dissertation prizes for projects that demonstrate an interesting re-use of quantitative or qualitative data available through the UK Data Service.

The three winning candidates will receive prizes of £500 (1st place), £250 (2nd place) and £150 (3rd place).

The abstract of the winning dissertations, along with their key findings, will also be publicised to our networks within the social sciences through our quarterly Newsletter. Electronic copies of the winning dissertations will also be published on the UK Data Service website, subject to the permissions of the winning students, their supervisors and their affiliated institutions.
